Confluence is a hugely important stepping stone for the Cosmic Mirror Game system. It simultaneously comes out as a core rulebook, and a core setting. Due to the wild nature of this era, every being, item, power, and system from all the other eras have converged into one, incredibly diverse world. Not to worry though, the implementations of the other systems are being done sparingly, so it is not as overwhelming as it could be.

The game system will feature 10 core races, each with their own small section of unique abilities that will be like a small preface to their full unique systems to be found in their forthcoming books.

From the 6th era …
… come the Fallen Gods of Dystheis, who will have areas of influence that they can spend Divinity to affect.

From the 7th era …
… come Men, hailing from all the corners of Mortalis, and having a small array of magic brought with them in the form of divine candles, the dead, and ancient magical texts.

From the 8th era …
… come Raith, ratfolk beings who stalk the tunnels of Labyrinthea, and they will bring with them their unique incense magics.

From the 10th era …
… come The Hollow, beings who are the shells of people from the Teatro Grottesco, they will bring their emotion and arts based system of points, and the countless horrors of the not quite real.

From the 11th era …
… come the Chell, beings who have integrated with technology on a personal level, and bringing from Ferrougos the most advanced technologies the other races and eras have ever seen.

From the 12th era …
… come both the Umbrans and the Mirrar, bringing their unique soul tether and dream powers from the joint worlds of Umbra & Mirn.

From the 13th era …
… come the Diluvians, beings who have as many as seven minds, and likewise have seven powerful selves, hailing from their short lived utopia of Diluvia.

And from the final, 14th era …
… come the V’sal, a race bred to house outer-planar entities, and the Hahens, a wild and psychic race of odd-colored, horned humanoids. They bring with them spots of magic and power from the vast and incredible world of Solare.

In addition, 30 additional sentient races from across the worlds will be offered in the bestiary section, being usable as NPCs and inhabitants of the vast setting.

Beyond the races and their small tastes of future settings and systems, Confluence will feature the core rules for all future books, a slew of abilities, items, and creatures for use with any and every game system then to be released. This book and future books will all be compatible, meaning new items, systems, monsters, races, and abilities found in each book can be applied to others, with Confluence, the 9th Era, being the intended conglomerate setting for all the future options released in later books.

The game itself is still in the works, with an expected Kickstarter date set for November 2017 to build the funds to fully illustrate the book. Expect this game book in Summer 2018.
